Despite working late, we were all quite excited for the upcoming total solar eclipse on April 8th 2024. I woke up earlier than usual for this astronomical event. Just to make sure that everything was prepared for our trip to the path of totality location. The day was very bright, so everybody was eager as they gathered outside in preparation. To witness the moon passing over the sun, while it creates a beautiful dark sky.
In our location / state here in America. Despite totality lasting for over 3 min, we were only able to catch this moment for a few seconds. However, those few seconds were definitely worth the wait. Witnessing the sun become so bright and vivid, contrasted by almost complete darkness, was quite spectacular to observe. Can’t wait to try catching the next one! ~Scott Dusenbury, Cleveland, Ohio
